Advanced Domain Name Search

We will describe how to perform an advanced search. You can click on linked terms within this page to see more detail about the features discussed.

The advanced search gives you ultimate control over how domain names are generated and checked. You can specify preferences that will limit the domain names to those that most closely match your criteria.

To perform an advanced search you use one or more word groups. A word group is a list of alternative words to appear in the domain name. A maximum of one word from each group will be used at a time. This allows you to effectively generate useful domain names. Word groups independently support specific positioning, can be set as optional or mandatory, and have an independent number of thesaurus alternatives (Domain Name Pro) for each word in the group.

The following steps are involved in performing a detailed advanced search:

1. Select one or more domains to search (or select none to simply see the domain names that will be generated).
2. Enter or load a list of one or more words ro terms in one or more word groups as required.
3. Set the allowable position of each word group.
4. Specify which word groups are optional and which are mandatory.
5. Set the number of thesaurus alternatives (Domain Name Pro) for each word group.
6. Change any of the general search options, such as use of hyphens, Net SpeakT (Domain Name Pro), Acronyms (Domain Name Pro), or the maximum number of words, maximum length, or maximum number of results.
7. Click the Search! button.

Mozzle will search for combinations of domain names using the search terms and settings that you specified. You can stop the search at any time. Once the search is finished you can click a domain name marked as Available! (as a web hyperlink) to go to a domain name registration site to register it now, or look through the results at your leisure, sort them, print them, export them to a text file, CSV, or HTML file, browse to the registered domain names displayed, perform a trademark search (Domain Name Pro) and so on.

You can save and the word lists entered into the word groups from the File menu or alternatively from the popup menu for each word group search term.
